Tutorials: How to Make a Doll
Home
left

In this tutorial you will learn how to make a doll. Hopefully this will answer all your questions.

Step 1. Find a dollmaker and assemble your doll.

Step 2. Once your doll peices are all put together, you will need to take a screenshot of the page. Look for the button near the top of your keyboard... it should be next to the "End" button.

Step 3. Open up your paint program of choice. For this tutorial I am using MS paint since most computers come with it already installed. To find it, click "start" then "all programs". Then click "accessories" and you should be able to find paint. Click on it to open the program.

Step 4. Once you have the program opened, click "edit" on the top and then drag down the box that appears and click "paste". Or, you could just press these buttons on your keyboard: Ctrl + V. Your screenshot should appear.

This is what it will look like(I resized the picture though!):

Step 5. Next step: You will need to crop the doll. The cropping tool is in the toolbox of your paint program, right up at the top. Click on it to activate it. You will need to place the little dotted square over the doll to move her around and cut her out.

Step 6: Once you have her cropped, you should place her up into the top left corner of your paint program. You can erase all the other stuff.

Almost done!

Step 7: Next you will want to crop and move the doll a little bit so much space is saved as possible. Of course, you don't have to do this is you don't want, but it helps to make the image without so much unneeded space.

Once it is perfectly spaced, it will look like this:

Step 8: Next, you will need to save the doll. It's simple, just click "file" on the top, then scroll down to "save as" and save your doll.

And now you're finished!
Some suggestions for what you could use the doll for:
Putting onto your website
Making it into an icon
Making it into a site sign or other graphic
Printing out and sticking to your agenda

Of course, it's left entirely up to your imagination!
